§ 1. General Provisions

  1. These Terms of Service (hereinafter 'Regulations') define the rules for using the website located at horizonadvisors.eu (hereinafter 'Platform'), operated by Horizon Marketing Advisors, Lda., with its registered office in Lisbon, Portugal.
  2. These Regulations are addressed to all users of the Platform. Each User is obliged to read the Regulations before using the Platform and to comply with its provisions.
  3. The use of the Platform is voluntary and free of charge, with the exception of specific consulting services, which are governed by separate agreements between Horizon Marketing Advisors, Lda. and the client.
  4. The content published on the Platform, including articles, case studies, and insights, is for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice.

§ 2. Definitions

  • Platform – The website available at the domain horizonadvisors.eu, providing information about the company's services and related content.
  • User – Any natural person, legal person, or organizational unit without legal personality who uses the Platform in any way.
  • Account – The Platform does not require account creation for general browsing. 'Account' may refer to client-specific portals established under a separate service agreement.
  • Services – The strategic marketing and consulting services offered by Horizon Marketing Advisors, Lda., the terms of which are detailed in individual client contracts.
  • Regulations – This document, the Terms of Service, specifying the rules for using the Platform.

§ 3. Type and Scope of Services Provided

  1. The Platform provides Users with access to information about the scope of consulting services offered by Horizon Marketing Advisors, Lda., including market research, branding, and digital strategy. It also provides access to informational content like articles and case studies.
  2. Users can submit inquiries regarding the Services through the contact form available on the Platform. Submitting an inquiry does not constitute the conclusion of a service agreement.
  3. Horizon Marketing Advisors, Lda. reserves the right to modify the content and functionality of the Platform at any time, without prior notice to Users.
  4. All intellectual property rights to the content on the Platform, including text, graphics, and logos, belong to Horizon Marketing Advisors, Lda. and are protected by law. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

§ 4. Technical Requirements

  1. To use the Platform correctly, the User must have a device with access to the Internet and a modern web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) with JavaScript and cookies enabled.
  2. The Administrator is not responsible for any disruptions, including interruptions in the functioning of the Platform, caused by force majeure, unlawful actions of third parties, or incompatibility of the Platform with the User's technical infrastructure.
  3. The User is solely responsible for ensuring the security and proper functioning of their own equipment and software used to access the Platform.

§ 5. Rights and Obligations of the User

  1. The User is obliged to use the Platform in a manner consistent with applicable law, social norms, and the provisions of these Regulations.
  2. The User is prohibited from providing illegal content and from using the Platform in a way that disrupts its functioning or is burdensome for other Users.
  3. The User agrees not to take any action aimed at interfering with the software or security of the Platform, including attempting to gain unauthorized access to data that does not belong to them.
  4. All content provided by the User through forms on the Platform (e.g., name, email) must be truthful and must not violate the rights of third parties.
  5. The User uses the Platform at their own risk. The Administrator shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of the Platform.

§ 6. Final Provisions

  1. The Administrator reserves the right to amend these Regulations at any time. Amendments become effective upon their publication on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after amendments constitutes acceptance.
  2. Any disputes arising from the use of the Platform shall be resolved by the competent court for the registered office of the Administrator.
  3. In matters not covered by these Regulations, the relevant provisions of Portuguese law and European Union law shall apply.
